Behind every herd is a rancher or farmer putting in long days, sacrificing weekends, losing sleep, and carrying the weight of things most people never see. It’s a way of life built on grit, resilience, and hope—even when the odds feel stacked against them.

These aren’t just bulls. They’re part of someone’s livelihood, someone’s legacy, and generations of hard work.

My dad has always had a camera in his hand. Some of my earliest memories involve him documenting life, finding beauty in ordinary moments, and making sure memories never faded. I don’t think I ever realized how much that would shape me until photography became such a big part of my own life.

Looking back, my love for photography feels less like something I found and more like something I inherited. Thank you for teaching me, simply by example, that the little moments are worth capturing.

From 3 months old to almost 10 years old, these two have been causing trouble together every step of the way.

Through first steps, scraped knees, endless adventures, backyard play, tears, laughter, and all the little moments in between. Jack has been her sidekick and best friend.

Watching them together reminds me that dogs aren’t just pets—they’re chapters of our lives. And Jackson has been one of the very best chapters of hers.

Here’s to almost 10 years of muddy paws, wagging tails, unconditional love, and a friendship that’s stood the test of time. 🐾🩵
