MODEL CALL (you don’t have to be a model just enjoy having your moments captured) COLORADO SPRINGS
After years of photographing people in some of Colorado’s beautiful outdoor locations, I’m excited to begin expanding another side of Breathtaking Moments Photography — studio photography!
Outdoor and on-location photography has been the heart of much of my work. I love natural light, beautiful landscapes, genuine connections, and capturing people in a way that feels like them. Now, I’m excited to take that experience and creativity into the studio. For all my other clients, don’t worry I am still doing outdoor locations.
I’ll be renting space at Luminous Creative Studio in Colorado Springs, and I’m looking for a few individuals, couples, and families who would like to participate in a COMPLIMENTARY studio photography session while I expand this part of my portfolio.
WHO I’M LOOKING FOR
I want to use this opportunity to create a variety of styles and would love to photograph:
Christmas & Holiday Portraits
Families, couples, children, and possibly even some furry family members! I’m especially excited to start creating holiday imagery for the upcoming Christmas season.
Newborn + Family Lifestyle
Soft, natural images centered around those first precious moments together, snuggles with Mom and Dad, siblings loving on their new baby, tiny hands and feet, and all those little details that change far too quickly.
Maternity & Motherhood
Beautiful portraits celebrating pregnancy, motherhood, and the connection between a mother and her children.
Lifestyle Families
Less “everyone look at the camera and smile” and more laughing, cuddling, playing, interacting, and simply being together.
High School Seniors
A mixture of traditional senior portraits and more creative, fashion-inspired or editorial images that showcase your personality and individual style.
Couples
Natural, romantic, playful, and intimate portraits celebrating your relationship and connection.
People + Their Pets
Because sometimes your four-legged best friend absolutely belongs in the family photos!
Generational Portraits
Grandparents, parents, children, siblings, or several generations together. These are the photographs that can become incredibly meaningful as the years pass.
Personal Branding & Headshots
Entrepreneurs, artists, creatives, realtors, small-business owners, professionals, or anyone who needs updated images that show a little more personality than a traditional headshot.
Creative / Editorial Portraits
This is where we can really experiment! Creative lighting, dramatic portraits, interesting wardrobe, fashion-inspired concepts, and ideas that might be a little outside the traditional portrait box.
Bo***ir Photography — 18+ Only
I’m also looking for adults interested in helping me expand into tasteful, confident, and empowering bo***ir photography.
These sessions can range from soft and romantic to dramatic, elegant, or editorial depending on your personality and comfort level.
You do not need to be a professional model or have any modeling experience. I’ll help with posing and direction throughout the session.
Because these sessions are being created for portfolio and promotional purposes, bo***ir participants must be comfortable with selected, mutually agreed-upon photographs being used publicly. We will discuss image-use boundaries beforehand so everyone is clear and comfortable with what may be shared.
All bo***ir participants must be 18 years of age or older.
And if you have a creative idea that isn’t on this list, tell me! I’m always excited when someone comes to me with something different.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
There is NO session fee for the individuals and families selected.
In exchange for participating, you will receive:
3 professionally edited, web-resolution digital images at no charge.
You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view your photographs and download your three included images.
You will also have the opportunity to order professional-quality prints and products and, where available, purchase additional images from your session if you fall in love with more than your included three.
There is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything.
WHY AM I OFFERING THESE SESSIONS?
I’m not new to photography—I’m expanding where and how I create it.
Much of my photography over the years has taken place outdoors and on location, surrounded by Colorado’s mountains, forests, red rocks, and beautiful natural light.
Now I’m excited to take the experience I’ve gained photographing people outdoors and bring it into a professional studio environment.
This is an opportunity for me to work with different studio lighting, backgrounds, sets, styling, posing, and creative concepts while building a diverse studio portfolio for Breathtaking Moments Photography.
But whether I’m photographing a newborn curled up against Mom, a family laughing together, a senior celebrating an exciting new chapter, a couple in love, someone rediscovering their confidence during a bo***ir session, or creating something completely artistic and outside the box, I still want the photographs to feel like you.
IMPORTANT — THESE ARE PORTFOLIO SESSIONS
Because these complimentary sessions are specifically being offered to help build and promote my studio portfolio, participants must be comfortable with selected photographs being used publicly by Breathtaking Moments Photography.
Images may be used on my website, social media, portfolio, advertising, printed marketing materials, and other promotional purposes.
A model release will be required before the session. A parent or legal guardian will need to provide authorization for any participating minors.
For bo***ir sessions, image-use boundaries will be discussed beforehand, including which types of photographs the participant is comfortable having publicly displayed.
I’D ESPECIALLY LOVE TO FIND AN EXPECTING FAMILY
One project I would really love to create is a:
“Waiting for You → Welcome to the World”
I’d love to photograph an expecting mother/family for a maternity session and then have them return after their baby arrives for a newborn lifestyle session.
Being able to photograph those two chapters together would create such a beautiful visual story.
AND CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
I’m especially excited to start creating Christmas and holiday studio portraits!
I’m looking for families, children, couples, and potentially pets to help me create beautiful holiday imagery as I begin developing my studio Christmas offerings.

Please include who would be participating, the ages of any children, a current photograph of the participant(s), and your general availability.
For newborn sessions, please include your baby’s current age or expected due date.
If you’d like to bring a pet, tell me a little about them too!
For bo***ir, you only need to let me know that bo***ir is the category you’re interested in, we can privately discuss your vision, comfort level, wardrobe, and image-sharing boundaries from there.
Because I will be paying for and reserving studio time specifically for the people selected, please only volunteer if you’re confident you’ll be able to attend your scheduled session.
I’m incredibly excited to take what I’ve spent years creating outdoors and bring some of that magic inside.
This is a chance for me to experiment, learn, create, push myself creatively, and expand what I can offer my clients and hopefully give some wonderful people beautiful photographs in the process.
