My Story

Hi! I am Melissa. I am a wife, a mom and a photographer and I have a strong passion for all three. I truly enjoy spending time with my family as well as capturing lasting memories for you and your family to remember always. No matter if you are looking for a cozy location for a newborn session, a cake smash session for your 1 year old, some simple snap shots of all your kids or family together, I have you covered. I would love to meet you, talk with you and discuss what you are looking for. Your photography experience should be so much more then just a quick session and you never see that photographer again. Your session should be about having fun, making memories and most of all capturing the art to hang the walls of your home for years to come. I truly look forward to meeting you and capturing a lifetime of memories for you to remember always!

What kind of session are you looking for?

Maternity Session - take place between 30-35 weeks. I do have maternity gowns for you to look through if you are interested. Sessions can be done in studio or in outside location. Sessions take about 30 minutes.

Newborn Session - take place between 7-14 days old. Sessions are held in my home studio. My studio is filled with everything you would need for your newborn. Your main goal is getting to the studio after you have just welcomed your little one home. Sessions run anywhere from 2-3 hours. Sessions do include family as well as siblings.

LifeStyle Sessions - These take place in your home. I have done a few maternity , family and newborn in clients homes. People seem to really like this simple type of photography. There are no props, its simply you being photographed in your home surroundings. If you are interested in more information on this, please feel free to reach out.

Cake Smash Sessions - take place around baby First birthday. I work with you you put together a custom set up just for your little one. Cake smash sessions do include portraits, cake smash and bubble bath. Sessions take about 45 minutes.

Family Sessions - take place all year long. Together we work on location, clothing and dates to get everyone together. These sessions, depending on the size of the family, take about an hour.

Senior Sessions - take place either in studio or outdoors. This is your seniors time to shine. I work with them on clothing, hair, location and props. Depending on location, these sessions take anywhere from 1-2 hours.

Pet Sessions - take place either outdoors or in my studio. Sessions take about 30 minutes. This is just a time to photograph your pet. Maybe its a new puppy, a birthday or just because. I have some strong pet skills to get that picture perfect pet photo.

Printing options are always available through Life Photography by Melissa as well. I strongly believe that photography is more than just an investment but a true memory that you will have with you for a lifetime. Its important to me that you print your images.
