Our Story

Hi! I'm Laurie with LaFaye Photography, and I'm a Colorado native, wife and mom to a sweet, spunky three year old daughter. My specialties are photographing families, weddings, maternity, newborns and seniors. My style is a mix between traditional posed and lifestyle. I utilize a combination of natural and/or studio style lighting. I primarily do portraits in an outdoor setting (both natural or urban) but also use a studio space for newborn, head shots and bo***ir. After more than a decade of doing this very part time, I made the decision to step away from my corporate career and turn this into my full time profession. I worked for a few years shooting lead on weddings for a top wedding photographer in Colorado Springs while simultaneously building LaFaye. Years later, I don’t regret my decision for a second! I am grateful for the gift I have been given and love that I can use it to create special lasting memories!
