Happy birthday to this precious little lady!

What a joy it has been celebrating her life... from the time her parents announced she was on the way, to her very first days, moments in her first year and now her very first birthday.

I love how she sticks her tongue out, and sticks her feet up out of her high chair! She loves her dog .finley and they *almost* share a birthday, too!

I had a blast putting this session together with her sweet, creative mommy and shooting at the beautiful Kindle Studio in downtown Colorado Springs . Happy birthday sweet girl! I can't wait to see what your next year brings!

SO excited for this sweet mama who got her VBAC last night!

After her first birth ended with a c-section and a NICU stay, her second birth began naturally a couple of weeks before her guess date and her little love is doing so well so far.

I've journeyed with this wonderful mama and her amazing family since her first was born a couple of years ago and they are the most precious of humans. I can't wait to meet the newest family member soon for newborn photos! 😍

Limited edition minis - booking now!

Guys, let's face it - this economy is trash.

I want to offer an option to my sweet clients to get your photos done without the investment of a full-length session. I don't have the capacity for detailed set designs, so I'm going to offer VERY limited minis (hopefully about once per month) at a VERY low cost (and a discount for cash payment!) at beautiful local spots.

Coming up on Saturday, August 15th - a beautiful Garden of the Gods location with minimal walking! This is a fantastic opportunity to update your annual family photos, document your baby bump or your growing kids, or get some beautiful couple photos. (Immediate family only please.)

I had the IMMENSE pleasure of documenting this sweet little baby's arrival earthside a week and a half ago, and in just a few days I'll see her and her wonderful parents again for her in-home lifestyle newborn session.

It's my birthday! The big 4-0. 😬

I have mixed feelings about this, but the overwhelming consensus in my mind and heart is that I am so very blessed to have reached this age, to have my husband and my two beautiful girls, and a sweet and supportive community of friends and family.

I like to bless other people on my birthday, so if you want to take advantage, I'm offering a 10% discount on all sessions booked today 6/30/2026 through Sunday 7/5/2026. Session must take place prior to 12/31/2026. Session must be fully booked and retainer paid by 7/5/2026 to take advantage of this offer.

Oh heyyyyy new business name, new logo, and brand spanking new website coming soon too!

This change has been in the works for a LONG time and I couldn't have gotten here without the incredible .co !

My old website name should forward to the current site, making it very easy to find me despite the changes.

Motherhood is my passion, in all its many stages and forms. You might see a lot of beautiful bellies and precious babies on my feed and website - just know I'm photographing families with older kids, even adult kids, too! Motherhood never ends once it starts. 🤍

I select options for you based on your preferences, and you can try on in advance in my home office, in your own home, or on your session date. These babies are my dream come true.

Motherhood is not often easy. It stretches me and asks so much of me. But being these girls' mama has made me so much better, and drawn me so much closer to Jesus.

Wherever you are at in your motherhood journey - happy mother's day. It's not always an easy day. For so many years it was a day of pain for me, and if that's you today - I see you. And I send you so much love and hugs.

Hold your loved ones close, especially those babies who just don't keep. Be blessed, mamas!
