Day 3! Story telling and finding even just a shred of gratitude 😅.

I love how I can look back at photos and they tell me a story. Especially during the deep hard seasons of motherhood and fostering I would ask the Lord to help me find gratitude even in the seemingly mundane. The way the light shines, watching the kids sleep, or hearing them laugh, sitting in silence with a hot cup of coffee…and if I could capture the moment on camera I could continually return to it and be reminded how the Lord carried me through. 🥹🙌🏽

Well I’m officially in my slow season and it got me thinking about how this all started. I’ve loved photography since I was a kid and would beg my mom to buy me disposable cameras. As the years went by I never lost interest, enter Ryan and his crazy talent for cinematography and being the most patient teacher he helped me to finally understand a DSLR camera. 💕

As someone who doesn’t have many childhood photos I knew my main photography focus was going to be to capture my family. I’m so very thankful to Ryan for providing me the opportunity to be a stay at home momma and being able to document my babies over the years.🥹 I miss the slower pace of thier younger years and just know I will continue to look back and be so blessed by these memories.
