A quiet morning with their closest family, blue skies stretching over the mountains, and a celebration that felt so intentionally them.

They exchanged vows at Sunrise Amphitheater with Boulder as their backdrop, then gathered for dinner at Flagstaff House to soak in the views (and some incredible food) together. No big production, just an unforgettable day with the people they love most.

Proof that you don’t need a huge wedding to have a day that feels extraordinary. 🫶

Using a mix of film and digital cameras allows me to create a gallery that feels layered with TONS of variety.

And yes… I’m not kidding when I say I bring 6+ cameras to every single wedding. All in all that’s 35mm film and medium format, and digital. I also threw in examples of my Super 8 films and wedding content creation add-ons ✨

Jenny & Drew, and the most magical wedding weekend ✨🤍

Idlewild Ridge in Lake George set the perfect camp-inspired backdrop for a celebration filled with so much love. Even with a downpour during cocktail hour, the sun found its way through, making for one of the best sunsets I’ve seen in a while.

Your wedding day is the only day in your life where all of your friends and family come together. Even if they’ve never met each other or haven’t talked in years, they’re all coming together to celebrate love. It’s magical, and honestly seeing our weddings guests have as much fun as we did has been the best part of looking back on our day.

That being said, disposable cameras were one of the best things we invested in for our wedding day. As a wedding photographer myself, I wanted to get my friends and family active in my favorite hobby, so we handed each table a disposable and told them to have fun. The photos and memories captured turned out to be some of the best, most candid, fun filled photos of the evening.

We made sure to instruct everyone to turn on the flash (see the white label on the camera 😅) because we didn’t want rolls of blanks. And at our guest book table we had a basket to “return “ the cameras once they were full. If you’re considering doing this at your wedding DO IT!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary on Sunday 🍾 We spent the day looking through our photo album and videos, and I realized I never shared these. At the top of the aisle we took a photo of each other and of our guests, and let them take some photos of us! It was a fun way to incorporate what we love into our ceremony. Although the film didn’t turn out the best (I used a local lab instead of my professional lab and well.. not doing that again 😅) I’m still so in love with them.

Thanks to our amazing photographer for the first few images!
