Your wedding day is the only day in your life where all of your friends and family come together. Even if they’ve never met each other or haven’t talked in years, they’re all coming together to celebrate love. It’s magical, and honestly seeing our weddings guests have as much fun as we did has been the best part of looking back on our day.

That being said, disposable cameras were one of the best things we invested in for our wedding day. As a wedding photographer myself, I wanted to get my friends and family active in my favorite hobby, so we handed each table a disposable and told them to have fun. The photos and memories captured turned out to be some of the best, most candid, fun filled photos of the evening.

We made sure to instruct everyone to turn on the flash (see the white label on the camera 😅) because we didn’t want rolls of blanks. And at our guest book table we had a basket to “return “ the cameras once they were full. If you’re considering doing this at your wedding DO IT!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary on Sunday 🍾 We spent the day looking through our photo album and videos, and I realized I never shared these. At the top of the aisle we took a photo of each other and of our guests, and let them take some photos of us! It was a fun way to incorporate what we love into our ceremony. Although the film didn’t turn out the best (I used a local lab instead of my professional lab and well.. not doing that again 😅) I’m still so in love with them.

Jenna & John’s 2025 elopement was shared in March’s print issue of British Vogue (paid placement/ad). It’s always such an honor to get invited to share my work in print, especially when I get to tell such a heartfelt story at one of my favorite venues, The Broadmoor. Grace & Rhys 🤍

About a week ago, I had the honor of photographing their wedding in Italy and it still doesn’t feel real. Sorrento (and their venue ) is somehow even prettier in person. Wisteria overhead, lemons everywhere, and the kind of water view that makes you stop what you’re doing and appreciate the beauty of life.

The whole weekend just felt so them, so in the moment and so full of life. So much laughing. So many hugs. You could genuinely tell how loved these two are just by looking around the room ❤️

And on top of that, they had one of the wildest, happiest dance floors I’ve ever been in the middle of. To sum up the memories in a few photos just isn’t enough. I can’t wait to finish editing their full gallery, and to get their Super 8 back from the lab 🍋
