✨ The first hints of fall and a happy pup ✨

I love when sessions take me to parts of Colorado I haven’t yet explored. McKenna mentioned that her and Jack were excited to visit Aspen for the first time, so we enjoyed a new (to us) area together. Their dog, Echo, may have been the most excited of us all!

Oh, and we got to see a bear 🐻 (thankfully from a safe distance).

✨ A beautiful September evening for an elopement spent in the mountains ✨

We hiked to the perfect viewpoint along one of Amy & AJ’s favorite hikes for their elopement day. It was so special to witness them exchanging vows in a place that means so much to them. They hiked to the peak the day before with their pups Jenny & Sadie. And of course the pups were there to sign their marriage license as witnesses.

We drove on a 4x4 road to this lake, waited in the car for the hail and storm to pass, hiked to the perfect spot to say their vows, and let’s just say the wait was worth it.

Don’t forget to soak in the experience of your elopement, storms and all. It’s your adventure.

✨ So much fun, laughter, and tears were had on Abby and Kristina’s elopement day. ✨

The day started out rainy and gloomy, but soon turned over to sunshine just in time for their first look. We soon headed to their intimate ceremony venue where their closest family and friends awaited their arrival.

After their vows and exploring a beautiful mountain overlook, they enjoyed dinner with their loved ones. And then it was time for… bowling!! This was one of the most fun, unique ways to celebrate their wedding day.

I’m so grateful I was able to document their special day. Kristina and Abby are truly some of the best humans I’ve met, and I simply couldn’t stop smiling as I photographed their love for each other.

I think the views changed every two seconds on M & J’s elopement morning. After waiting the rain out for an hour, the sun started to poke out from behind the clouds. The fog and clouds moved around constantly, covering and uncovering the surrounding peaks. It was so cool to watch how quickly it changed. And it was a reminder that Mother Nature does amazing things out here in Colorado. Patience is key!

Oh and the wildflowers were pretty amazing too!

✨ Mountain views, a sunset ceremony, and celebrating with the fam. Doesn’t get much better than that! ✨

Story time… I’ve known Jordyn (my cousin-in-law if that’s a word) since Josh and I started dating at the end of high school. She was in middle school. Just thinking that she’s married now makes me feel old!

In all seriousness, I’m so honored to have documented her and Kyle’s wedding day. Seeing her family grow is just the sweetest. ❤️ And there’s no place better to say your vows than in Colorado!
