One of my favorite things about photographing a micro wedding is that it gives couples the space to slow down and actually experience their day.
There may not be hundreds of guests or a packed dance floor, but what these celebrations do have is intention. Every hug lasts a little longer. Every happy tear feels a little more personal. Every moment carries so much meaning.
When I’m documenting a wedding day, I’m always looking for both the big moments and the little ones. Of course I’ll be ready for the vows, the first kiss, and the epic portraits, but I’m also paying attention to the quiet in-between moments that often become the most treasured memories. The nervous hand squeeze before the ceremony. Grandma wiping away a tear. The way a couple looks at each other when they think no one is watching.
My goal is never to turn your wedding into a photoshoot. Instead, I want to create space for you to be fully present while I document the story as it naturally unfolds. I’ll guide you when needed, but more than anything, I want your photos to feel like YOU—not a version of you performing for the camera.
The best wedding images come from genuine connection, real laughter, happy tears, and moments that can’t be recreated. That’s why I focus on capturing your day as it felt, not just how it looked.
Because years from now, I don’t want you to simply remember your wedding day. I want you to feel it all over again.
