I had so much fun with this sweet preschool grad and his mama! Mom warned me ahead of time that he might be a little shy, but he showed up ready for pictures and absolutely rocked it. He kept me smiling the whole session! And can we just talk about how stinking handsome this little guy is?! Wishing him the very best as he starts kindergarten — he’s going to do amazing!

✨ One year ago, I photographed this sweet baby girl’s newborn session—my very first newborn session here in Colorado. And now, here we are celebrating her 1st birthday! 🎂💜

Watching families grow is one of my favorite parts of this job. Being invited back to capture another milestone is such an honor.

And can we talk about middle brother for a second? 😂 He was not interested in photos whatsoever… until the cake came out. Then suddenly he was all smiles and would have happily posed all day for another bite! 🍰🤣

Moments like these are why I love what I do. To every family who has trusted me once and then invited me back again—thank you. It truly means the world to me. Watching your families grow feels a little like watching extended family grow too. 💕

My final round of mini sessions before maternity leave is officially here 🤍

I’ll be offering a limited number of summer minis throughout June at some of my favorite locations around Colorado Springs. These are perfect for families, couples, maternity, motherhood, or simply updating photos before summer flies by ✨

Each session includes:
• 10 edited images
• $175
• 3 or 4 spots available per date

DATES + LOCATIONS:
☀️ June 6 — United States Air Force Academy (No Military ID needed).
☀️ June 12 — Stratton Open Space
☀️ June 20 — Palmer Park
☀️ June 28 — Bear Creek Regional Park

Colorado has brought so many opportunities into my life that I truly never imagined possible.

When we first found out we were moving here, one of the very first things I did was look up how far away one of my favorite photographers, Shannon McTighe, lived. When I realized she was only about 3 hours away, I immediately booked a session with her.

But it didn’t stop there. Last December, I had the opportunity to attend a shootout with Shannon and Brittany Rose, and it was absolutely magical. I left feeling inspired, motivated, and hungry to continue growing in this industry.

This weekend, I finally took another big step and invested in a 1-on-1 mentorship with Shannon. I learned so much about photography, creativity, business, and myself as an artist, and I truly cannot wait to pour everything I learned back into my own business and clients’ experiences.

What I’m most thankful for, though, is the relationships this journey has brought into my life. Photography has not only helped support my family financially, but it’s also connected me with incredible clients, friendships, and mentors that I’ll cherish forever.

I’m leaving this weekend feeling so inspired, so grateful, and more excited than ever for what’s ahead. 🤍

As many of you know, we are getting closer and closer to welcoming our baby boy into the world 🩵

With that being said, I wanted to officially announce that I will be going on maternity leave starting July 1st and will not be taking on any additional sessions until after Labor Day!

If you are already on my books — don’t worry, you are good to go 🤍

If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, now is the time! I only have a few spots remaining for May and June, and once those are filled, that will be it until I return.

If you’re wanting fall photos this year, I would also highly recommend reaching out sooner rather than later. I will most likely NOT be offering fall minis this year, and I plan to take on a very limited number of sessions during the fall and Christmas season as I ease back into work life with a newborn. Spots will be extremely limited!

Also — if you are a current or previous client and have not downloaded your gallery or selected your favorites yet, please make sure to do that soon! I’ll be using some of my maternity leave to clean up and completely redo my website. Older galleries will be removed, and there will be a re-upload fee if I need to add them back later for downloading. I will not begin deleting galleries until July, so you still have time — but please make sure your photos are saved 🤍

As always, thank you all so much for supporting me and my business over the years. Truly. My business would not be where it is today without every single one of you, and I’ll never be able to fully express how grateful I am for the love and support you continue to show my little business and my family.

I’m so excited to welcome our son into the world, but also a little emotional stepping away from a job I love so much. I already can’t wait to get back out there and start shooting again!

And let’s be honest… if you book with me after maternity leave, there’s a very good chance you’ll get to meet my tiny assistant because he will probably be strapped to my chest during your session 🤣

Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to do what I love while also allowing me the time to soak in this special season with my family. Your support means more to me than you will ever know, and I cannot wait to come back refreshed, inspired, and ready to capture even more memories for all of you 🤍

Some families just make you smile from the second you meet them — and this one absolutely does 🤍
Mom and I had been Facebook friends for a while, so finally getting to meet in person felt like catching up with an old friend. Watching their adventures online is always so fun, but seeing their family dynamic in real life was even better. These boys are kind, smart, adventurous, a little wild in the best way, and full of the biggest smiles. The love, laughter, and chaos they share together is something really special ✨
