I felt defeated every time I went to take pictures of my own kids, or family.
& it’s literally my job..

Throughout the years of capturing families my style has slowly shifted from studying posing and getting it “perfect” to finding a deep appreciation for guiding families into candid & emotion driven moments. Don’t get me wrong, we will still absolutely do a variety of posing at your session to achieve classic and timeless portraits.

Honestly, the shift in mindset during my sessions came when my son started to get older, and he wouldn’t sit still for pictures, he wouldn’t stay in a pose long enough for me to take the photo. At first I was frustrated .. all week .. every week I take photos for families, but I can’t get one “good” photo of mine? As I edit more and more galleries I realize it’s almost never the classic smiling image that is a favorite. Those are beautiful too, of course. But my favorite images, and my clients favorites are almost always guided candids. A belly laugh between a couple when I have them spin and it’s their first time spinning, a sweet cuddle between a mom and her baby who didn’t nap before the session and just needs comfort… these images are the ones you can almost feel through the screen or frame.

Full sessions leave plenty of time to have this relaxed approach. Time for fun, time for your toddler to warm up. This isn’t realistic for families always, (time and money is tight) & that’s perfectly ok. That’s why I offer year round themed minis, so you can see what my sessions are all about!

I’m opening 7 motherhood spots featuring this soft, curated outdoor set, created to celebrate Mother’s Day 🤍🌷

Announcing a pregnancy, soaking in those final baby bump moments, chasing your toddlers around… ready for beautiful emotion-driven images with your children…this is for you.

These sessions are meant to feel calm, natural, and easy. We are stress free over here. Thoughtful guidance with no stiff posing. Cinematic & feminine. Romanticizing motherhood. Laughter, movement… just genuine connection between you and your babies 🎀

You’ll receive a professionally hand-edited gallery where you can choose your favorite 8 images, with the option to upgrade.

($10 per additional image or $80 for the full gallery)

Galleries will be delivered by May 9th, in time for Mother’s Day
If you’d like your images sooner, expedited editing is available. Overnight ($100) or 1 week ($60).
