Months of planning brought this little dream to life, and I am still in awe of all the beautiful art that has come from what we created. 🥹 Hosting this styled shoot with reminded me of so many of the reasons I fell in love with photography in the first place.
Many of you know me as a wedding photographer (and to all my new friends here, I'm so happy you're here 🤍), but those who've been around a little longer know my journey actually began with birth and motherhood photography. Getting to create something centered around motherhood again felt incredibly full circle.
While my motherhood brand, , has taken a quiet backseat during this wonderfully blessed and busy wedding season, it's still so close to my heart. As the seasons begin to change, I'm looking forward to creating more intentional, editorial-inspired maternity sessions for the mamas who want something a little different, something timeless and feminine, and deeply personal to this season of life.

I can't wait to share more from this beautiful day with you. 🤍

Photographing destination weddings has always been something I've looked forward to, and even though this wedding was intended to follow a short move from CO to TX, I am so happy that things fell into place the way they did. These two were so inspiring, and just so ready to be married. Such a stunning day, truly!

As a photographer I think we all have moments where something about your style "clicks" into place. This wedding was one of those moments for me, years ago. I fell in LOVE with green tones and candid emotion. I solidified my favorite camera set up for basically everything following. I realized that the kind of wedding photographer I wanted to be wasn't this intense "hype girl", but a guide. Someone my clients could trust, from booking to portraits and lived in moments they'd truly enjoy. I wanted to bring a timelessness to their imagery, so they could enjoy it for decades to come. 🤍

I look at this gallery often and think of the growth I've experienced since then, and it still remains one of my favorites. 🥹

When people tell me they "aren't photogenic," what they usually mean is...
"We've never been in front of a camera before." or they had a photoshoot built for major extroverts and hated all of their "candid" photos (because it wasn't "candid" for them at all..)

The truth? Almost every couple I've photographed starts the same way.

You don't have to know what to do with your hands, or when to smile. You don't have to put on a huge performance, and you don't have to pretend you're someone you're not for the day. I'll guide you through the entire session with natural prompts and gentle direction so you're never left wondering what comes next.

My engagement sessions are a guided experience, images that never feel overdone, and end with a gallery that you'll look back on and actually love.

Sweet backyard micro wedding where the love was so evident between these families. 🥹

You hear all the time that a couple has "a whole team standing with them" to help them through the trials of marriage, but rarely do you get to see it so beautifully on display on the wedding day itself.
Every embrace, every happy tear, and every smile made it obvious just how deeply these two are loved.

The way they looked at each other, cared for one another, and were surrounded by people who genuinely wanted the very best for them was such a beautiful reminder that marriage isn't just about finding your person, it's about building a life with a community that's cheering you on every step of the way.

What a gift it was to witness. 🤍

Microwedding in Westcliffe 🏔

Saying "I do" with the people that matter most and then chasing little bits of light around one of the most magical backdrops has to be the best "timeline" I've ever seen.
