We uploaded a new explanation of our services video. This has an example of the new 360 degree spherical videos we can now create for our clients. This 360 degree video can be uploaded to YouTube, and while paused, the customer can manipulate the video to look in any direction they want to. This is perfect for looking at properties when shot over the center of the property.
This video is an additional video that is not part of our normal selection of services we offer as a "package".

Spring is coming, and Talon Drone Services is ready to help land investors sell your properties in Colorado. We have added a couple of tools to our arsenal. We can get to those properties a bit off the grid. Not only do we have a jeep, but if the going gets too rough, we deploy a Polaris RZR 4WD side by side. So we can get to the property, and get the beautiful footage you need.

Speaking of beautiful footage, we also now field the latest in drone technology from DJI; the Mavic Pro 3 Cine. This drone has zoom features, allows us to create 360 degree interactive video, and can record up to 5.1K and in Pro Res. Now Pro Res cannot be posted on YouTube because the files are way too big. This would be for a property you are showing the client in your home office on a computer or Blu-ray player. The technology is not ready for streaming…yet. There are of course tons of other features, this drone has everything but the kitchen sink.

As always, we provide our clients with a directions video, a music commercial 1.5 – 2.5 minutes long, all of the edited photos, and a writeup of the property. We can add the 360 degree interactive video for an additional fee. This video would allow for the client to pan the camera and get a unique view of the property. The footage can be captured anywhere, but for properties if makes the most sense for that to be done in the center of the property.

One last note, we are having to charge a fuel surcharge for any property further than 50 miles from Colorado Springs, our home location. With gas prices this high, we simply can’t drive that far and not recoup some of that cost. Hopefully things return to a sense of normalcy soon.

Talon Drone Services offers drone services for commercial and residential applications. We capture high resolution 4K aerial imagery for Commercial and Residential Real Estate, and aerial site surveys. Inspections of roofs, towers, windmills and other structures. Special events like weddings.

Talon Drone Services, located in Colorado, and can get to most “off the grid” properties. We have a 4WD Jeep, and if the road or trail gets too rough for that, we also have a Polaris Razr Side by Side. We service the state of Colorado, please be advised that at this time we do have to charge a fuel surcharge because of the extreme fuel prices. This applies to any property that is further than 50 miles from our home office in Colorado Springs. We deploy the latest drone technology, and our commitment to ensuring our clients are always satisfied is second to none.

Our fleet consists of the following drones:
• DJI Mavic Pro 3 Cine – 2022 flagship drone capable of recording in 4K and 5.1K Pro Res HQ, creating spherical panoramic photos.
• DJI Mavic Pro 2 – 4K recording
• DJI FPV – 4K recording/chase type footage
• DJI Phantom 3 – UHD recording
• iFlight Bumblebee V3 HD FPV Cinewhoop – 4K recording, capable of indoor flying
• Rotor Riot Custom Vannystyle FPV – 4K recording, chase footage, thrilling cinematic footage capture
• Rotor Riot Pro Spec Skyliner HD FPV - 4K recording, chase footage, thrilling cinematic footage capture

Our ground photography is captured using Canon EOS 90D DSLR, we can even capture slow motion footage shooting in 4K with a Canon XPF 405 professional camcorder if desired. We also deploy GoPro action cameras that are vehicle mounted for the directions videos to help customers get to those properties you are selling. All cameras, aerial, and ground, have ND filters.

We edit all footage using an iMac 27in 5K with Adobe Creative Suite. All footage is color corrected using Cinema Grade software. We edited photos in Photoshop 2022, and our videos are edited in Adobe Premiere Pro 2022. We have the capability of adding custom graphics, animated text etc. All finished media is uploaded to our secure dropbox account, and we work with the client to ensure they are completely satisfied with the final project.

We provide our clients with the following for all projects:
• Directions video – shot in 4K time-lapse format. Opening and end credits with customer logo, intro and outro text, animated text for the directions. This video has no sound.
• Music commercial 1.5 – 2.5 minutes – shot in 4K (can be shot in 5.1K Pro Res, this format is not supported for YouTube), custom graphics throughout using customer logo, custom opening cinematic, custom end credits, music
• Color corrected/edited photos for marketing
• Writeup of the property – we give the client information about the property, vegetation on lot, wildlife encountered or living in the area, soil composition ( we are geologists, but we will let the client know if the soil is loose, compact, etc). We will also give a list of cities/attractions that are near the property and distances to them.
The following are optional for the client (these can be added to the normal client projects for an additional cost):
• 360 degree panoramic property photo – this can be uploaded to Facebook to allow customers to view the property in an interactive 360 degree photo.
• 360 degree interactive property video – this is uploaded to YouTube and allows customers to view the property in an interactive spherical video.
