Precious time spent with the ones you love can look like learning from a buttercup, whether or not they like butter, dancing with them to your favorite songs in the sunlight, and sharing lots of tight hugs, taking in every second!

To get this kind of special time with your loves, I am offering Mother’s Day sessions at the CB Creative Art Center from 5-8 PM, on Friday May 8th during the Colonial Beach Art Walk!

Each session will be 15-20 minutes long and you will receive 10-15 fully edited images on May 9/10th! (bubbles and music provided).

Last weekend I had the opportunity to take Santa photos for Colonial Beach Community Heart & Soul at the Riverview Inn — If you haven’t stayed there yet I highly recommend checking it out! They have the sweetest staff, all the amenities you will need, and a hard-working owner who keeps the place looking beautiful all year round! 🤍

This was an event Heart and Soul did during Small Business Saturday in town and I wanted to personally thank them for letting my small business be part of it! I had such a joyful day meeting all of the families and celebrating the holidays! ☺️🎅 ❤️

My favorite part of engagement sessions are taking photos that feel true to the couple! I hope to create little moments for them to remember together just by looking at their pictures.

little moments I’ll remember from these photos:

- baby cows appearing suddenly
- Brett forgetting what breakfast foods are (iykyk)
- lots of laughing
- Elena’s creative pose ideas and the kindness she showed me even when I accidentally went to the wrong location 🥲

also gifting us with her own canned goods at the end of the session.

The Marsh Family!

Some highlights not only from this session but highlights that are now added to my life:

* Little Darla ended the session in her dad's arms thanking me for taking pictures of her — I was in a puddle.

* Maisy’s natural beauty, joyful heart, and the most fun spirit to be around!

* Ryder sharing some of his favorite photos he’s taken and them being so great + showing me his skills with his drone and knowing all the details — I was inspired by his passion!

* And lastly, watching their mom and dad be so giddy and proud during the whole session because of who their sweet kids are.

As the sign in their house says, you could truly see the goodness of God in their lives. 🥲🤍
