I have not felt inspired to shoot for a few months or so, which is fine- I think breaks are ok. Maybe you need a reset every once in a while, but for the past couple weeks, I've been really craving some camera time. I decided to pull out a new camera that l've had for a year or two and never shot with😲(I always grab my old trusty) Here's a few of the pics I took this week- mostly just capturing things going on in our life- time with friends, scenery on my walks, and of course animals 🐴

Being asked to photograph the last moments of a beloved horses life is something I'll never take lightly.
Despite the bad weather we had, I think we were able to capture Peanut beautifully.

Hope everyone has had a great start to their New Year! My husband is preparing us for the arctic blast headed our way- He's the preparer, thinking of worst case scenarios. I'm the best case scenario person😂 I feel like you need both types in a relationship 👍

Closing out 2024 with a little introduction👋
For over a decade I worked as a professional portrait photographer, honing my craft and working with incredible people, but as much as I loved it, I needed something more.
So, I took my love for land, animals, cowboys/girls, and I started my passion project. You can find my art for sale at Farm Hippie in Pawhuska, and I also have a goal of getting my website running, so you can order prints online as well.
I also enjoy thrifting- there's something exciting about the hunt for something special, finding purpose for an unwanted item, and of course, the bargain! I love to incorporate my vintage finds into my fashion and home decor.
Most of the time, you'll find me at home spending time with my family or outside with my animals. If we aren't home, there's a good chance we are at the ice rink- Hockey is a family affair for us, so we are either playing or cheering each other on.
I have a lot of thoughts on 2025 and what I want out of this next year, but instead of sharing them all now, I think I'll hold on to them a little longer.
