No two newborn sessions ever look the same… and that’s the beauty of it.

The first time is slow and soft. Quiet snuggles. Soaking in every little detail of your brand new baby.

The second time?
A little more movement. A little more chaos. Possibly a toddler full of energy, loving on the new baby sibling in the sweetest, wildest ways.

The calm shifts into excitement. The cuddles turn into play. Both times are so sweet and something to remember. Every family, every season, every dynamic is different. My goal is to document it exactly as it is.

I loved capturing these newborn photos a second time around for this beautiful family! It’s so fun to walk through similar seasons with clients, and I always feel so grateful to document each new season 🤍

The truth is, yes I’m focusing on transitioning more into motherhood photography as my life & career continue to shift & change. BUT I’ve had some incredible weddings with some INCREDIBLE couples that I can’t just not share!!! Especially because I have been so blessed & honored to capture these very special days!

So you’ll definitely catch me sprinkling in past couples & future weddings into the feed. Don’t worry about it - just admire it! I sure do!!!

Also…… I am still booking a few weddings for 2026 & 2027 during this transition period — I just take a very limited number now! So if you’re on the hunt for a wedding photographer, I’d love to chat :)

Let’s talk about sunsets & bedtimes 🌅

Spring and summer sessions mean chasing the sun a little longer… and yes, usually a later bedtime than normal for littles.

I know that can feel like a lot, but this is how we capture the best kinds of photos! That soft sunset light isn’t just pretty… it’s what creates those warm, dreamy images. It flatters skin tones, softens everything, and lets me focus on real connection.

The good news is that you can prepare for being a little off schedule that evening! Before your session, plan for naps, full bellies, and a few snacks/toys for bribes. Come knowing it might feel a little wild, but that’s okay! We’re not chasing perfect behavior, just real connection, playfulness & lots of love.

Trust me when I say, I’ve been there too, and I promise one late night won’t matter. But those documented memories? You’ll keep coming back to them throughout the years🤍

During each session, I’m always watching for the little things. The moments you may not even realize are happening.

My goal is for you to look back at your photos and notice them too… the tiny feet that grow a little bigger each day, the wobbly steps, the curiosity, the snuggles you get while they’re still so little.

Those are the moments that tell your story, and they’re the ones I’m always chasing.

I’m behind the camera most of the time…
but every now and then, I make sure I step in front of it too.

Not because everything feels perfectly put together,
but because I know how quickly this season passes.

And I want to remember it the way it really felt (even if I don’t feel totally put together).

I also had the honor of capturing the moment these two got engaged — so honored to document these huge milestones as well as be a secret-keeper for a little while! 🤍

As a mom, I know how important & fleeting every moment is with your littles. The older I get, the more I feel called to lean into capturing those meaningful moments of motherhood. This means more moments captured for current + future moms. Maternity - Families - Newborns - Milestones. The beauty of the journey and each passing moment.

My goal is to capture moments naturally without foreceful posing, but rather to give you guidance that will deliver natural smiles (or giggles) or simply just you being present with your favorite people.

I’m officially on maternity leave from shooting (baby girl is almost here!), but I will begin shooting sessions again in April/May - the perfect time to book a spring session!
