Today was another great day for the Poison Cues VG10!!!

The Cuetec Cues playoffs continued with 2 Quarter final matchups.

Match 1 was between Albin Ouschan vs. Jim Telfer. Albin started out with more of the same from the qualifies. He jumped out to an immediate 5-0 lead over Jim struggled with his break and a couple of missed pots in the beginning of the match. He started to catch a little gear later in the match but it was too late as Albin continued grinding through the match to get a 9-4 win.

Albin moves on to play the winner of match 2. Jim finishes 5-8 for a purse of $850. A great event for Jim!!

Match 2 was between Malaj Hill-Hill Nick vs. Denis Grabe. The match started out surgical for Nick who ran out of all 4 of his first 4 racks. Denis struggled slightly and only got out of 2 of his first 4 racks. Denis began playing very strong and tied the match up at 5-5. Then went 6-6 and 7-7 and 8-8. Denis had the first opportunity and had a tough touch on the 8 ball trying to get to the 7 ball. That made the transition from the 7 ball to the 8 too tough and he unfortunately hooked himself trying to get to the tougher 8 ball. Nick took full advantage and ran out of his next rack to win the hill-hill thriller.... Ironically his nick-name.

Nick now moves on to play Albin. Tyler Styer vs. Fedor Gorst is the first match up in the semi finals and will begin at 11 am Eastern USA 5pm Central European time
