S.H.E. Week 2026 is finally here! See anyone you know? 👀

Conference Day was genuinely so insightful and fulfilling. I am extremely grateful to be allowed access to capture the community building and connection that the City of Frederick has and will continue to thrive on. It’s an integral part of what makes Frederick the wonderful, supportive, and inclusive place it is.

You too can get in on the fun and connection - tonight is the S.H.E. Pitch Competition, free and open to the public. It’s like Shark Tank, but make it Frederick and add people that you know! A wonderful evening of equal parts inspiration and entertainment. Starts at 5:30PM at Hood College Hodson Auditorium in Rosenstock Hall (400 Ferndale Ave, Frederick, MD 21701), see you there!

A huge thank you as always to the Frederick Chamber’s Women in Business committee (led by Acacia, Ak’s Grafix & Photo | Marketing, Branding & Photography and Jolena Simoneau | Sun & Moon Balloon Design), and everyone at the chamber for putting on such amazing events year after year.

A memorial for Frederick resident Ann Andrex, 74, is seen in front of Staples at the Frederick Shopping Center off 7th Street after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing the roadway on Monday, July 13, 2026. Andrex died from her injuries on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Pride Night at Harry Grove Stadium 🏳️‍🌈⚾️

One of my favorite parts of photography is getting to capture people showing up, celebrating, and finding community together.

So grateful I got to spend the evening documenting Pride Night and all of the joy that filled the ballpark. Thank you to everyone at - staff, volunteers, board members, and everyone in between - for making events like this possible. Frederick is a better place because of communities that make room for everyone to belong. 🌈
