This time of year, I can’t help but think of Mary. Holding her new baby boy, knowing the sacrifice she was going to have to make down the road. Every laugh they would share, every tear she would wipe, every scraped knee she would bandage, every time she would cook Jesus his favorite meal, or watch him play with his friends. Every little unseen moment that makes up motherhood. Yet knowing at the end of it all, she would have to let him go. I can’t imagine the quiet strength it took to go on, to trust in God’s greater plan. This season, I am so very thankful for my Lord and savior, but also for Mary, the mama behind it all 🤍
