Working on sneak peeks for this beautiful family, and I noticed little Everett was helping me drop a hint about something coming soon. 👀

This year, I’ve decided to keep things simple with end of year minis and I am SO excited about these!

I also know times are tough, and family pictures AND Christmas pictures can add up quickly. So with these, you’ll be able to knock out both at once! You’ll get those regular, fall-ish, good-all-year-round family photos plus a little nod to Christmas, all in one session, for one price, at one time. You won't have to dress the kids up twice!

There’s a little clue hiding in this photo about what I have planned, but that’s ALL I’m telling you for now. And Everett promised not to say a word so don't bother trying to get out of of him! 😉

Lawson’s mom brought a few different sentimental items for his newborn shoot, this blue blanket and the Love You Forever book. You know the one…

“I’ll love you forever,
I’ll like you for always,
As long as I’m living,
My baby you’ll be.”

It was a staple in my house growing up, and it’s also one I read to my own kids now.

Once upon a time… Amelia turned ONE. 🏰

Mom & Dad wanted to save her very first cake smash for her actual birthday party, so we pulled out the fake cake instead and look how cute it turned out.

Just a little reminder that a cake smash session doesn’t have to include actually smashing a cake. Fake cakes are always an option, and you still get all the fun without stealing that special first smash from the big day!

My newborn calendar is officially OPEN through February!

When is the best time to book your newborn session? Your second trimester!

This gives us plenty of time to get you on the calendar and start planning. But if you're already past that point, don't worry! You can message me anytime, and I will always do my best to get you scheduled.

I am SO excited for all of my fall and winter babies coming up. We have so many new props, outfits, wraps, and other goodies that I cannot wait to use!

I took the weekend to rest, recharge, and unplug with my family, but now I’m back at it and ready to get to work!

Meet my model for the next year, baby Lawson! And let me tell you… he clearly understood the assignment. Seriously, the cutest little man. Those cheeks. That hair. Even those eyelashes are to die for!

I’m Katie, the girl behind Katie Ann Photography.

It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself, or been in front of the camera, so after my littles were tucked in tonight, I snuck out to the studio to do just that.

I recently left my job in healthcare to focus full-time on my studio, my photography, and being home more with my three little guys. Photography has become a bit of an obsession of mine over the last few years. Newborns will always have a special place in my heart (give me all the tiny babies 🥹), but I love capturing milestones, families, and everything in between.

I’m married to my husband, Josh, who is basically the behind-the-scenes construction crew around here. He helped build my studio and is occasionally talked into building whatever random prop or idea I’ve decided I need next.

One of my favorite things about this career is that it’s given me more time with my own boys, while also constantly reminding me just how fast these years really do go, and how important photos really are. Everyone tells you that, but man… they aren’t kidding. I catch myself looking back at pictures from two years ago, four years ago, even just last year, wondering how in the world they got so big so fast.

My oldest little guy actually turns FIVE tomorrow, which is extra crazy because he was also the very first newborn I ever photographed. No, I will NOT be sharing those pictures because… oh my. 😂 We’ve done a whole lot of learning since then.

But that little living room newborn session five years ago is really where all of this started. I had no idea at the time where it would eventually take me.

So if you’re new here, Hi! I’m Katie. Mom of three boys, wife, baby whisperer, and very thankful I get to call this my job. 🤍
