Natures Gaze Photography Photography by Ashley English My interest in photography started when I received my first camera, a Kodak Pocket Instamatic, when I was only 11 years old.

Over the next several years I would just walk around carelessly snapping away not really sure of what I was doing, just trying to capture the moment. In April of 2014, with the encouragement of my husband, I took my first photography workshop to not only expand my knowledge on how to use my camera, but to compose the perfect image. That first workshop really sparked my passion and I've been going non-stop since. I cannot wait to share my experiences with you!

One of my favorite things about photography is slowing down enough to notice the details that are often overlooked. This palm leaf in Tulum caught my eye with its beautiful lines radiating outward like a burst of sunshine.
