The same studio, the same wardrobe collection, the same direction work. Just a different mood in mind.

If you've been thinking your portrait session has to feel a certain way, light and airy, gentle, dreamy, it doesn't. We can do crimson and theatre. We can do still and quiet. We can do everything in between.

Eight months postpartum.

The body in this photograph is not the body I had before having my babies. It's softer, slower, still carrying the weight of growing and feeding a small human. I won't pretend I love every angle of it yet.

But here's what I've learned photographing women through pregnancy and motherhood: the body doesn't need to be "back" to be photographed beautifully. It just needs light, styling, and someone behind the camera who sees it as it is.

If you've been waiting until you feel "ready" to do a portrait session, this is your reminder that you don't have to wait. Your body is worth photographing.
