I think birth photography may be the work I love most.
It holds everything I’m naturally drawn to…raw emotion, real connection, vulnerability, strength, and moments that cannot be staged or repeated.
There is no performing for the camera. No forced smiles. No recreating the moment if it’s missed. I have to be completely present, trust my instincts, and recognize the story while it’s unfolding in front of me.
Birth is powerful, unpredictable, tender, messy, and sacred. It is the exact moment an entire family changes forever, and being trusted to quietly step into that space and preserve it will never feel like ordinary work to me.
This is the kind of storytelling that has my whole heart. 🤍
