A few weeks ago, Katy was on a walk with our daughter when she called to tell me about a bald eagle perched near our neighborhood fox den. A fawn carcass laid just outside the rear entrance, likely because the foxes couldn’t fit it through the den opening.

I grabbed my camera and rushed out the door, fully expecting to miss the opportunity. Thankfully, I made it just in time to capture a few shots of this beautiful bird before it took off.

As much as I love photographing the wildlife in Yellowstone, there’s something so cool about witnessing nature unfold right in our own backyard.

Instead of an Earth Day post, I thought I’d share some exciting news… .brenner has another bun in the oven and we couldn’t be more stoked!

Building this little family with my beautiful wife has been the greatest honor of my life, and I can’t wait to see our Charlie girl step into her big sister role. Although undeserving, I am a blessed man.
