When you picture saying your vows in Washington, whether you are eloping or renewing them years later, you probably think rainforests, Cascade peaks, the Palouse.
Almost nobody pictures central Washington. Honestly, that is a mistake.
Sun Lakes-Dry Falls is a basalt cliff nearly four hundred feet tall and three and a half miles wide, carved by the Ice Age floods. It looks like nowhere else in the state.
Here is the part most couples miss: timing. If you want the mountains, you are waiting until late June for the snow to clear, and this year that comes with drought and an early fire season. Central Washington gives you clear skies and cool spring air with none of that risk.
