Let's gooooo. The water clarity is phenomenal. Hoping to spot some kokenee salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka]) soon as they return to spawn and complete their life cycle. Meanwhile, I'm keeping an eye out for the early eagles arriving.

Mr and Mrs Mom and Dad Goose honking their heads off. To be fair, they had a reason to. When my board is deflating, I usually trot down the highway to a little trail that brings me through some thick grass and scrub and right beside a bridge in a very sheltered spot. I have been lucky finding wildlife there and this time it was these two hooligans. I surprised them and they were HONK HONK HONKING like I was intent on murder. I started whistling at them. They were so surprised they shut up immediately! Hmn.
