“Favorite thing to photograph on a wedding day?” That’s easy.

The walk back down the aisle. Signing of the marriage license. The 15 minutes I get to spend with the couple making photos of just them.

Now there isn’t always an aisle….and that’s okay it’s the joy after the pronouncement that I love to shoot.

And there isn’t always a marriage license that is signed by the couple…but I’ve photographed vows being signed as promises and a family bible being signed. Which were just as heartfelt and lovely.

The 15 minutes I get to spend alone with the couple photographing them….well it’s special for so many reasons…but mostly because it’s the only time they get a moment of quiet together the whole day. And that brings out all the emotion.
