56 years together; a “The Notebook” kinda love 👵👴
I recently returned to the states from 52 days in Colombia under the deep care of these two. My grandparents raised me my entire life but returned to Colombia when I was 17 and I’ve been missing them ever since.
These last two months was the first opportunity since then that we’ve been together, just us three, like it always was, and I just simply won’t ever forget these times shared.
Just moments before having to reluctantly head to the airport, I asked if I could snap a few photos to capture this point in time. This is the house I grew up in till I was 7. It was so surreal to be back here loving on these two and letting my grandma nurse me back to life. 2022 ended with so much grief, tragedy, and burnout and I’m so grateful to have left my grandparent’s house feeling SO recharged, at peace, motivated and rejuvenated. Their love is the most precious and healing and inspiring thing in the entire world💕
