What a moment. The ravens at Arches are very aware of what humans bring with them and they are not afraid to let you get close. I had the pleasure of hanging out with this beauty for about 20 minutes before my friend had to pull me away. I would have stayed until they made it known that I was a bother.

Editing the Utah photos and I think I found my mascot 🤣 this beautiful raven was hanging around Balancing Rock. I waited around, hoping it would perch so I could get a few shots off. I wasn't disappointed.

A first of many.... and I mean many. I took well over 1000 photos in the week that we got to explore Iceland. We only explored the southern part of the island, but it was enough to placate me until I can return during the midnight sun.

We traveled East along route 1 to our first destination which was Hofn. This was literally the view from the road. Epically magical.

** sidebar** if you would like some scale.... if you look carefully in the bottom third of the photo. There is a dark strip that parallels the horizon, in that dark strip you will find a huge Terex earth mover and an excavator.

Talk about a hiatus!!

Life finds a way...lol to turn itself upside down.

However, this year I have luckily been able to bounce back...hopefully.

I am officially back to adventuring!!!
