My summer has been busy on top of busy but only with good things! This past weekend it was my pleasure to document the Portales' Juneteenth Celebration at Portales Country Club and Clovis' Juneteenth Celebration. Juneteenth is observed annually on June 19th and commemorates the end of slavery.

Juneteenth occurred two years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, freeing all enslaved people in the rebellious states. Here are a few highlights from both celebrations but you can catch the full albums on The Connect page!
