I’m writing this with tears in my eyes because I am just so overwhelmed with happiness.

When I picked up my dad’s coolpix camera at 12, I swear a spark ignited inside of me. I would always grab my besties we would spend the weekends taking photos at random places. Fast forward to 2026 and I’m still spending my weekends exploring and taking pictures with my new besties (my clients).

If you were there at the hugatreegirly phase, the screamhope phase, the ruthlessfight phase, and now the shawnainmanphotography phase, thank you. You’re the reason I’m still doing this today.

I can’t let this moment pass without thanking some amazing people in my life…

My husband. You’re my rock, my biggest cheerleader. Any time I was scared to make the jump, you told me you’d catch me if I’d fall. I’ll always be fearless with you by my side. I love you .

My best friend . The one who always watches my Snapchat rants and always wanted me to do better and be better.

To , , .carter, , .clovisnm, , .ashleylinder it has always been more than just a small conversation to me. It was the hours you’ve spent listening to me and encouraging me that I’ll always remember and be grateful for.

Thank you and Foxy’s for always allowing me a space to be creative and welcome.

And to literally every single person who has stepped in front of my lens, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are the reason I get to do this as my FULL TIME job. My ENTIRE DREAM.

And even though this is my full time job, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work part time with Curry County to be more involved in the community that has meant so much to me the last two years.
