Reuben + Summer💍

This love story is so epic & such a big part of my life. Sit tight because there’s no way I could condense this story lol.

For those of you that don’t know, Reuben is my brother, and Summer has been my best friend since birth. Our parents are ALSO best friends, and Summer’s brother is Reuben’s best friend (ik it’s a lot, but it makes this so much more special🥹)

Growing up as family friends, we always teased about how much we wish we were all family. Summer and Reuben literally fought like brother and sister, definitely never giving each other a second glance. Until last summer…

When she moved back home for the summer (ok hallmark?) they decided to go on a secret date “just for fun”. After a few of these dates, I found out. At first I was SO shocked, and honestly wanted to kill them both🤣 But now, I couldn’t imagine it any other way. I have never seen her so giddy the way she is about him.

Several months ago, we started planning a girls beach trip. Meanwhile, Reuben was in the process of buying a ring.

He flew down with the rest of her family yesterday, rented the condo next to us, and proposed to her on the beach!! We’ve spent many family vacations together at the beach, but this one definitely takes the cake. Being able to capture these moments was fun as the photographer, but as the sister and bestie, my heart was absolutely overflowing for them!!❤️
