We absolutely HATE having to make posts like this! We have been so lucky having the most considerate photographers use our space and haven’t had to make any in a very long time. However, over the last week we have had lights get broken, all the furniture rearranged and not put back, trash left behind, lingerie and other client closet items left in the floor or scattered about (the client closet is an add on, it is not open for everyone to use!) and the metal bed frame get broken (not sure how that happened unless some one or multiple people were jumping on the bed!)
If you have used the studio in the last week or so and have noticed things or have evidence of misuse (photos or video) upon your arrival and haven’t already reached out please do so as we will be narrowing down the culprit/s and they will no longer be able to access the studio for sessions! We do have a camera at the top of the stairs and will be reviewing all footage as well.
From now on, we will require renters to send a video of how the studio looks upon arrival and when they are leaving. We love being able to provide our cozy little space to local photographers but we will not allow our equipment and props to be misused and broken. It’s one thing to let someone know when you have accidentally broken something or it was broken when you arrived but to come in and find the studio absolutely destroyed is not okay.
We’ve worked really hard over the last almost 5 years to provide an affordable studio for photographers to use and have never once increased our pricing while others around us charge more. Please be considerate when using the space and treat the space and everything in it as if it were your own.
Thank you to those that have continued to support our studio and not misuse her! We are so proud of The Studio 338 and what we have been able to provide!
