✨New things at SJPhotography ✨
Hey there, it’s been a minute. I’ve just been quietly doing sessions and haven’t been posting them. I just wanted to announce some changes I’m making and may even need your help with…
1. I will no longer be posting pictures of kids’ faces. Of course those photos still exist, but to keep their privacy protected, those photos will only be sent to the client, and not posted by me publicly. Whatever the client decides to do with those photos after is up to them, but I’ve decided it’s not my place to make that choice. If any pictures are posted, their faces will not be included, selectively cropped out, or have a sticker put over them.
2. My logo means a LOT to me, as a friend designed it and she has since passed away. I’ve been wanting to upgrade it for a while now, but I’ve just not been able to let go. I think I’m ready now, and I’m looking for a graphic designer who could make me a logo, which leads me to my next thing…
3. I’ve mentioned it before but I’m going to put it out there again, I am so down to trade and exchange services with people! Need photos but you don’t have cash? Well, do you do graphic design? Hair? Nails? Clean houses? Something else? Just ask. If what you offer is something I’m interested in, exchanging services is a great way to scratch each other’s back without breaking the bank. As long as the services are equitable, let’s chat!
4. My rates are staying the same for right now. $80 for 30 min/15 min edited photos, or $150 for 60 min/30 min edited photos. Travel fees apply to anything 20+ miles from my house and they just make up for the extra time and gas for those shoots. I might increase these rates later, I might not. I just think photos are important and people should be able to afford them.
