I love what I do and am excited to further my knowledge in the art of photography! I have always loved pictures all my life. I am never without a camera, and sometimes forget to hop in a picture myself. I love the fact that I can capture moments of babies, children, families and so on, in hopes that these moments will be remembered and shared forever. How amazing that this could be my profession.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor of Language Arts. I have always wanted to be a teacher, but I have always been passionate about photography. I am continuing my education in Photographic Arts and am ecstatic about gaining more knowledge. But either way I love being around children. I love being a student and want to continue learning as this field continuously changes. I don't see photography as work, it's my life. Shouldn't we all do what we love? I am an observer, always smiling, very content and calm and just love to catch that perfect shot. I love photos that are unplanned and natural. I want your child to be comfortable, and natural, not stiff and unhappy. I love posed shots, but there's something precious about the sweetness of a child when they don't know you are capturing them. I am a proud wife to my husband of 10 years. He is my English Prince Charming, though not royalty, I have always been his Princess! We have three beautiful boys, who are the best part of my day. They are best buddies, my favorite subjects to shoot and they probably think my camera is stuck to my head. I truly love documenting them as they change, and every bit of cuteness as they grow. It's happening way to fast. It excites me to bring you the photos and memories of your children, family, or event in a way that it is a beautiful piece of art that stays on your walls for years, not just a month or two! I want to give you memories that take your breath away. I look forward to many beautiful pictures to come!
