It doesn't seem like I should be old enough to say this, but I did the math twice and...I've been making passionately making photographs for EIGHTEEN years.
This is a new season in life and I've never had 4 small children, or home-schooled, or breast-fed one baby while cooking for five others, while ALSO working 40-50 hours a week. There's that saying "Too blessed to be stressed." Well, I'm riding high on being both blessed with a busy business and super stressed trying to juggle it all.
SO! This leads me to some photo business updates:
• I will only be scheduling 2-3 sessions a week, and no more than 1 session a day.
•This means I will most likely not be able to schedule a session with 2-3 days notice. If you'd like to schedule a session (which I hope you do!), we'll most likely have to schedule it about 2 weeks out.
• Mini-sessions can be scheduled at any time, not just Fall, but they'll only be scheduled for Athens, TN. It just doesn't make sense to spend 1.5 hours driving back and forth for a 30-minute session.
• There's been some confusion about whether or not I just photograph in the studio. To clarify, I shoot both in the studio and out in nature! I will always want to take photos in a field or shaded treeline. And I will also always want to shoot in my studio. I book both types of portrait sessions, just depending on what my clients want.
I'm so happy to be this booked up! It's amazing! But it is extremely important for me to maintain my love and passion for photography while also nOt hAViNg a nErVoUs brEaKdOWn.
That said, let me take your picture! I am very good. And extremely, extremely funny.
