When preparing for your child’s first photoshoot, there are some things to keep in mind:
1. Children younger than 6 may not sit still for more than 15-20 minutes.
2. When choosing a portrait photographer for your child’s special moment, remember that it will get goofy and silly 😜. That’s where the magic happens.
3. Children get nervous around unfamiliar faces. No matter the age, don’t get frustrated if your child shows up to your scheduled session and is not too happy to see a new face flashing lights at them. Allowing them time to warm up is perfectly fine.
4. And last but not least, please don’t raise you voice at your children during the photoshoot. Trust me, we want to make sure this experience is comfortable for all involved.
