📸 A Little Life & Business Update 📸

This photography season came to an earlier end than I ever expected. Due to several unexpected complications during my pregnancy — including emergency gallbladder surgery and a major car accident — I’ve had to step back and prioritize my health and my growing family.

As I take some time to reset, I’ll also be doing a little housekeeping here on my page. I’ll be cleaning things up and removing some of my older albums from previous years. This doesn’t mean those memories aren’t special — I’m simply making room for a fresh start and a new season of photography.

I am still booking select sessions through the end of September!

I’m incredibly grateful to be here and able to write this.

I was recently involved in a major car accident coming home from my baby shower last night and ended up hospitalized to monitor me and baby. It was a scary but I’m incredibly lucky to have walked away with only minor injuries considering how my car looked.

Thankfully, baby is doing just fine! He’s already keeping everyone on their toes—dodging the nurses trying to scan him and doing his best alligator rolls as if he's totally unaffected. 😂

This experience has reminded me just how quickly life can change and how precious every moment truly is. I’m beyond grateful for the people who were there for me, the care we received, and most of all, that baby and I are okay.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, reached out, and kept us in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️ We’re taking things one day at a time and feeling very, very grateful and blessed for God's continued hand over my life and my baby's.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and kindness over the past few weeks. As many of you know, I've been recovering from emergency surgery, and your support has meant more to me than I can put into words.

I'm happy to share that I'm getting back on my feet and have been working hard to finalize everyone's galleries, though abiet slower than normal. All remaining photos will be completed by August 5th.

If you've been waiting to order, please be sure to place your orders before August 5th.

Thank you again for your grace, encouragement, and continued support of my small business. I truly appreciate each and every one of you, and I can't wait to get back to capturing more special moments soon! ❤️

After much thought and consideration, I've made the difficult decision to cancel all horse show photography for the remainder of the season due to my high-risk pregnancy and the ongoing health challenges that come with it.

This wasn't an easy decision, as I truly love being part of the horse show community and appreciate the support you've shown me throughout the season. Right now, my focus needs to be on my health and my growing family.

For those who placed orders from the RHANW Show in June, please know that I am continuing to work on those orders and will be fulfilling them. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as I work through them.

While I won't be covering horse shows for the rest of the season, I will still be accepting a limited number of smaller photography sessions, including:
• Senior portraits
• Family sessions
• Maternity sessions
• Anniversary and other special event sessions

Thank you all for your understanding, kindness, and continued support during this season of life. Your encouragement means more than you know. I look forward to returning to horse shows next season and in the meantime, I'd love to help you capture your family's special moments. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to book a session.

It's been one week since my recovery, and I am feeling more like myself and experiencing less pain and more energy. I'm still taking it easy and giving my body the rest it needs.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding. I plan to begin working on orders again on this coming Monday, however, orders will still continue to be slower than normal.

I truly appreciate all of your support, kindness, and patience during this time. It means so much to me! 💕

The last thing I expected was to end up in the hospital needing emergency surgery, especially while pregnant. It's been a scary and overwhelming experience, but I'm incredibly grateful for the doctors, nurses, and medical staff who took such great care of me.

As I begin my recovery, I'll be focusing on resting, healing, and taking things one day at a time. I also want to let everyone who has placed an order know that I will continue working on them as I'm able.

I kindly ask for your patience and understanding, as my turnaround time will be a little slower while I recover.

I'm hopeful for brighter days ahead, including a better season next summer, and thankful to still be here. Please keep me in your thoughts as I continue this healing journey. ❤️

I wanted to share a personal update. I have been experiencing ongoing complications with my pregnancy in regards to my gallbladder, leading me to have to cancel recent shows.

My doctors have advised me to prioritize my health and my baby's well-being.

Because of this, there may be changes to my availability, longer response times, or occasional schedule adjustments. I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and support during this time.

Running my business means so much to me, and I remain committed to serving my clients as best I can while following my medical team's recommendations.

Your understanding allows me to focus on what matters most right now: staying healthy and giving my baby the best possible chance.
