This beautiful lady, Jessie Beaty turned 100 years old on Saturday. She was surrounded by family and friends in a surprise event in Cleveland. She was given a key to the city of Cleveland and a state flag flown over the capital in her honor.
To be a part of this family is a blessing, to be able to capture this moment 100 years in the making was an honor!

It is not often I am in front of the camera. I am much more comfortable behind it. If I am honest, I have hid behind it. I can avoid the crowd and my awkward, nerdy tomboy can slip away making beautiful images. I am thankful for this chance, for all the days that led to this one. This is me. 50 full years of life.
