Asia Armour is a Cleveland-based mixed-media artist and photographer with 7+ years of experience creating evocative, narrative-driven artwork. Her work celebrates Black womanhood, exploring themes of resilience, transformation, and growth through innovative storytelling techniques. By blending photography, collage, and floral elements, she crafts pieces that invite reflection and connection, offering a unique perspective on the intersection of art, culture, and identity.
Over the years, Armour’s work has been featured in galleries such as Deep Roots Experience, Cleveland Botanical Garden, and Hedge Gallery. Notable projects include In Bloom, a solo exhibition honoring iconic Black women in Hollywood, and Blackberry Lemonade, a large-scale mixed-media collage created for Fresh Fest Cleveland. Her artwork inspired by Aurora, the Goddess of Dawn, was also selected for the University Hospitals Collection, celebrating local Black artists and promoting wellness through art.
She has collaborated with organizations such as the Cleveland Clinic, the Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation, and the Cleveland Botanical Garden, producing public art installations that blend history, community, and creativity. Beyond exhibitions, she has worked on commissioned projects, expanded into product design through her Etsy store, and has also taught art therapy workshops to foster creativity and connection.
As a passionate advocate for storytelling through art, she always seeks opportunities to connect with fellow artists, curators, and brands to create impactful and meaningful work. Connect with her to explore how art can inspire, transform, and build community!
