Let them play! While I’ll always aim to capture at least one “everyone look at me and smile!” photo… the moments in between where the kids run and laugh and play are always some of my favorite photos from the bunch. So don’t worry if your kids have energy to burn during your session, we’ll capture them in all their silliness! 🙌🏻

Cohen’s senior session was such a good one! We spent the evening exploring a couple of beautiful spots, catching the last of the golden light, and of course, getting some photos with his dog (which might be my favorites from the whole session!).
I love when seniors bring a little piece of their everyday life into their photos. It makes the session that much more personal, and these are the kinds of memories they’ll love looking back on years from now.

There was such a classic elegance to this day. The historic estate and lush gardens were the perfect setting for a wedding that felt refined without feeling overly styled.
I wanted their portraits to reflect that: editorial and intentional, while still making space for the quieter moments between them.
This one was a dream to photograph.

A maternity session, but make it Texas. 🤠
This is my sweet niece, who is expecting her first baby in November. We had the prettiest evening light and plenty of time to just play around with it… trying different angles, adding movement, creative framing, and letting that Texas sun do its thing.
Sessions like this are such a good reminder of how much I love getting to experiment a little and see where it takes us.
And getting to do it with someone I love made this one even better. Can’t wait to meet this little babe.

Senior photos don’t have to be a whole production.
I like to keep my senior sessions quick and simple, especially for the guys who aren’t exactly counting down the days until they get their picture taken. 😂 We’ll get a good mix of photos, keep things moving, and make it as painless as possible.
No awkward posing. No dragging it out. We’ll get what we need without making it feel like an all-day event.

Class of 2027 — it’s not too late to get your senior session on the calendar! I still have some fall dates available.

Senior sessions are a snapshot of such a specific time in life, and I love when we can incorporate something that’s especially meaningful to a senior.
I’m always thinking about how a session can reflect who you are right now… whether that’s through the location, what you wear, or bringing along something (or someone!) that’s a big part of your life.
For Olivia, that meant including her horse. Having him there made these photos so much more personal and gave us a chance to document something that’s a huge part of her life right now.
That’s what I want senior photos to do: capture more than what you looked like your senior year. I want them to remind you who you were and what you loved at 17 or 18.
Have a future senior? Keep me in mind when it’s their turn; I’d love to help plan a session that’s completely personal to them.

Sometimes the light chooses the location.

I walked by this field before the session and saw the way the sun was coming through the trees and lighting up all of those little white flowers, and immediately thought, “that’s the spot.”
A location can be beautiful, but if the light isn’t right, it won’t photograph the way you expect. I’m always looking for where the light is falling, what it’s doing behind my subject, and how I can use it to make an ordinary little patch of field look like this.
And these kiddos were pretty darn cute in it, too. 🤍

The sweetest evening with the Blank family! The kids were full of energy, so we spent plenty of time running around, playing, and letting them be themselves. And that sky at the end of our session was such a bonus. ❤️
These are the kinds of family photos I love most. A few everyone-looking-at-the-camera shots, but plenty of the real moments in between.

Our first session got rained out halfway through, so Gina got the best of both worlds with two completely different looks!
I love getting to capture this exciting season of life for seniors before they head off on their next adventure.
