Scrolling through some old videos and pics today, and it hit me how thankful I am for this.

The people I’ve gotten to meet. The places this work has taken me. The person I’ve become along the way. A decade in, and it still feels like the beginning of something.

Grateful for this little life and even more excited for what’s next.

Tested out some different lighting with my new strobe. Was super inspired by a Yousuf Karsh portrait of Hemingway.

Was a fun time trying to figure out how to light these images but I think I got pretty close to the original.

New Godox AD 600 BM II is so 🔥
Excited for this in a lot of big jobs I have coming up that I needed more power for bigger spaces and against harsh sunlight.

Wanted to test it out before I used it in the field and recreated an extremely famous headshot taken by Yousuf Karsh of Ernest Hemingway.

Trying to replicate this lighting took me a bit and was a bit touchy to get right. I think I did alright! Let me know what you all think 🤔
