Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival Co-Founder Donna Dabbs is producing her first film for her new production company. The Musical Documentary entitled STILL VIBING: Music by Forecast. 40 Years in the Groove will focus on the performances of the longtime Contemporary Jazz Group, featuring interviews with the band, family, and friends. Dabbs steps into the producing chair after shepherding the prominent film festival for over a decade and a half. “I love telling stories, and this just seems like a natural part of my journey.”

Apple EXODUS writer/director Joddy Eric Matthews is set to direct. The visionary doc will include musical performances, along with animation, and will be screened in Dolby Atmos to maximise the feeling of a live concert. The film is set for a fall theatrical release.

Join us for a filmmakers' evening with producer, director, and senior colorist Joddy Eric Matthews at Cleveland Cinemas Cedar Lee Theatre. He will walk through a real-world Color Grading workflow and discuss how Color Science and tools aid not only in making pretty pictures, but also in the storytelling process. He also discusses the DoP/Colorist workflow in using advanced Camera systems such as the Alexa, and how he worked to tell the story on the feature Interval, which he DOP'd and Colored.

The Atlanta- and London-based Director served as the colorist of several domestic and international television shows, including CaribbeanGirl NYC, which aired on FranceTV, BBC Two, and the Caribbean Network FLOWTV, and the upcoming mini-doc series, Kings of Vegas, starring Jimmy Kimmel, Snoop Dogg, and Chuck D.

MadWerkz enters Post-Production on Season One of Daughters of Legend, a 6-Episode Reality Show featuring Kimberly Brown, daughter of the legendary Jim Brown, and Robin Charles, daughter of Hall of Fame legend Ray Charles. Distributed through Porter Craig, the series is produced by Brown, with episodes 2 and 3 directed by JEM (Joddy Eric Matthews).

Post is split between MadWerkz Ohio and Atlanta, with Rojunee Thomas assembling and editing the show on Avid, with JusBen handling graphics and Bill Z providing Dolby Atmos Post Audio production. The show will be finished in Dolby Cinema to meet SVOD standards on DaVinci Resolve. Matthews is serving as the Post Production Producer.

Season one of the 1-hour show is targeted for the upcoming Holiday season.
