Brb, staring at this gallery indefinitely because I am OBSESSED!

I wanted to talk about one of the most common things I hear during most of my couples sessions: “we’re so awkward in front of the camera.”

I promise you do not need to know how to pose or worry about doing anything “right.” The best thing you can do is just show up as yourselves, trust the prompts/direction I give you, and fully lean into it. The more you embrace it and just have fun together, the more natural your photos will feel.

Honestly, the moments people end up loving most are usually the unplanned in-between ones anyway

I first photographed these two 3 years ago when I was still figuring out who I wanted to be as a photographer and developing a style that felt authentic to what I wanted to create.

Coming back together now, after really growing into my style and vision, felt full circle. There’s nothing better than clients who come back, it’s the biggest compliment and a reminder that this little creative journey is actually working 🤍

Also how cute is ??? Going to have to go back when everything is in bloom 😍

we met up in a small town with no real plan besides walking around and seeing what we’d find.

we shot as the streetlights came on, bounced between storefronts and side streets, and honestly just followed whatever felt right. sessions like this always remind me why i love photographing couples.

In-home sessions are always a favorite of mine, I love the element of personality they add to the photos. And I mean truly what’s better than getting to be in the comfort of your own home for photos??

I’ve known Wesley since we were practically babies, so now getting to capture some moments for him, Ellie, Winnie, and their newest addition Sophia (how precious is she??), was sooo special! 🤍

I love this trend because it shows how unique each session really is.

Same photographer, six couples. But every session has its own energy, and tells its own story. I bring consistency, but I also leave a lot of room for the session to unfold naturally, so your photos reflect how it felt, not just how it looked.
