Art is political, human lives are precious, and the absence of due process is unjust. Hating, killing, demonizing or abusing a group of people wanting a better life is deeply inhumane. Especially when the idea of โ€œundocumented peopleโ€ exists only because of national borders, not because they are any less human! Caring for and treating others the way you would want to be treated is not a radical idea, nor is it hard to understand. My art stands for love ๐Ÿค!!

Itโ€™s been a minute since Iโ€™ve been on this side of the camera โ€” turns out Iโ€™m much better at telling stories than being in them.

28 years around the sun (a few months late on saying it, but weโ€™ll roll with it).

Lately Iโ€™ve been feeling extra inspired โ€” the kind of inspiration that comes from old movies, direct flash, and quiet moments that somehow say everything. Itโ€™s funny how much being behind the lens teaches you about slowing down and actually seeing life as it is.

To the couples whoโ€™ve trusted me to tell their stories, and to the ones I havenโ€™t met yet โ€” thank you for letting me keep doing what I love most.
