What an utterly MAGICAL day on campus! The place where these two met and fell in love!

From the meticulously planned proposal by Jacob, to seeing my sweet friends again after too many years, to this full circle moment for me - Chandler was my very first client for UGA senior photos! And, as a bonus, I got to see so many of her incredible friends, who I ALSO had the honor of taking their senior photos back in 2022.

I’m so very excited for this sweet couple - and it was such an honor to asked to be a part of their day.

Heads up for upcoming seniors (and really, anyone) who want professional photos at Montaluce. They’re still one of the few venues who do not charge for use of their grounds for photos (yay!) but they do have some rules (and a release form to sign).

Where do I start?

This day was just perfection from start to finish. The weather, the thoughtful, purposeful, intimate moments. The LOVE. The presence of the Lord evident throughout the day. The friendships. The funny little moments too. And once again, emphasis on THE LOVE.

I seriously may have cried more this day than during my own wedding - and I’ve met them now, a whopping two times. But that’s just how emotional and beautiful the whole day was!

Thank you, Autumn and Dakota, for allowing us to share in your special day. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and laughter.

This is why I only do 7:00/7:30AM sessions in April. But even at that, the line typically starts at 6:30AM or earlier.

Is used to be it was only this bad in April - but the last two weekends in March looked much the same. Even weekday mornings have looked the same.

HIGHLY recommend getting your senior session out of the way in Fall or anytime through Spring Break.

The next two weekends are going to be crazy busy in Athens.

4/17-4/18: Twilight

4/18: G-Day game (may affect access to stadium on 4/17 & 4/19 too - though I don’t know for sure)

4/25: Live Between the Hedges (Luke Bryan/Jason Aldean concert) (may affect access to stadium 4/24 & 4/26 too)

I am personally booked all of May but if anyone wants sessions POST-graduation, DM me for June dates!
