I had the pleasure of photographing the 12th Annual Women to Women Regional Summit, hosted by the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce at the Rod ’N’ Reel Resort in Chesapeake Beach.
This year’s theme, Generation W2W, was all about bringing generations together — honoring the women and traditions that helped pave the way while making room for new ideas, new perspectives, and new ways of leading.
The keynote speaker, Tamika Tremaglio, Managing Director with Secretariat Advisors, LLC, brought her experience as a business leader and former Executive Director of the National Basketball Players Association to the room — and gave us plenty to think about when it comes to leadership, connection, and what we can learn from one another.
But one of my favorite parts of days like this is what happens beyond the stage.
The conversations at the tables.
The hugs in the hallway.
Women reconnecting with old friends and meeting someone new.
The laughter.
The stories.
Those are the moments I love catching with my camera.
Thank you to the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce and everyone who helped bring this sold-out event together. I was honored to be there documenting another chapter of Women to Women.
Because when women connect woman-to-woman — and generation-to-generation — something pretty wonderful happens. 💗
