There’s something so special about a summer morning in the meadows.

This beautiful extended family session was filled with sunshine, laughter, little moments, and so much love. I absolutely loved capturing everyone together in such a beautiful mountain setting and watching the kids simply enjoy being together.

This morning was filled with so many beautiful smiles, happy kids, and the kind of family connection that makes my heart so full. And when you can do it all right in the backyard, surrounded by the people you love, it makes it even more meaningful.

The morning light was absolutely beautiful, wrapping everything in that soft, warm glow that makes these moments feel even more magical. ✨

There are families you photograph once, and then there are the ones who become part of your story.

Years ago, I had the privilege of photographing this young couple when they were just beginning their journey together. This week, I stood on their beautiful mountain property, watching them laugh together as husband and wife, chasing their almost one-year-old, surrounded by the people they love most. It truly felt like a full circle moment.

Being asked back to document this next chapter and to include their incredible extended family, was such an honor. These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do. Photographs become more meaningful with time, preserving not just how life looked, but how it felt.

Thank you for trusting me once again with your family’s memories. It was a joy to celebrate this season of life with all of you.

Two amazing families, one unforgettable evening in Washington.

The kind of evening that makes you stop and take it all in, the sun slowly sinking behind the mountains, that warm golden glow reflecting across Cooper Lake, and just a touch of smoky haze hanging over the peaks.

And then there was this incredible home, built long before most people even knew what this corner of Washington would become. There’s something so special about photographing families in places that carry a little history and a whole lot of character.

These two families were visiting Washington together, making memories in a place that already feels pretty magical. I’m so grateful I got to freeze a little piece of their time here, the laughter, the connection, the kids being kids, and all that beautiful evening light.

Sometimes the location, the light, and the people just come together perfectly.

Some moments feel like you’re being invited into a world that isn’t really ours, a magical place. 🤍

Deep in Endicott Arm, Alaska, I watched this mama seal resting on the ice with her little one tucked close beside her. Two tiny faces in a vast, wild landscape surrounded by cold blue water, towering mountains, and floating pieces of ancient ice.

As a photographer, these are the moments I live for.The way wildlife simply exists in its own world, completely unaware of how extraordinary it looks to us.

Alaska has a way of making you stop and pay attention. And I’m so grateful I had my camera in hand when this little family came into view. 🦭❄️🏔️

Photography has been my greatest joy since I was a 14 years old, when I picked up my first SLR camera and never looked back. It has never been just about taking pictures, it’s about seeing, chasing light, waiting for those quiet moments when the world reveals itself in its purest form.

These sunsets over the mountains in Alaska are some of those moments. No expectations, no deadlines, no purpose beyond standing there in awe as the light painted the peaks with colors that seemed almost impossible.

That feeling is why I continue to fall in love with photography over and over again. The way light touches the land tells a story, reminding me that beauty is often found in simply paying attention.

These images aren’t for a client, they are for the that younger me who dreamed of capturing the world, and for the photographer I’ve become because I never stopped chasing the light. ✨📷🏔️

There is something so powerful about watching a humpback whale disappear beneath the surface.

The slow rise of its back. The pause. And then that beautiful tail lifting into the air before it slips back into the deep.

These photos were taken in Juneau, Alaska, and capturing these moments felt like such a gift. There is something humbling about being near an animal so massive, so graceful, and so completely at home in the wild.

A moment of beauty. A moment of stillness. A reminder of how much wonder exists in the world around us.
