Vulnerable post.... There's a lot of sessions I don't offer or that I turn down simply because I don't think I'm good enough.
Prom photos are one of them. I'm awkward posing people. I never feel like i'm creative enough. These are precious, one time events that people can't redo if I mess them up.
I have major imposter syndrome and tell myself all the time I can't do this kind of work. In fact, i've shifted further away from it because I just don't feel like i'm good enough anymore.
But, then for a second, I believe in myself and give myself some credit and this magic happens. I still might never do prom photos again, but for a moment I'll just embrace the awesome that came out of me saying yes for once.
It might have helped that they were STUNNING 😍 So please enjoy the one and only Prom 2025 session I did haha.
