I am so excited to share that my official contestant application for the 2027 Miss Rodeo America Pageant has been turned in! Stay tuned for the release of all the contestants’ headshots and more. The pageant will be held November 28 through December 6 in Las Vegas Nevada!

It has been a whirlwind of horse shoots this summer! We get so wrapped up in what we are currently working on that we forget to share all the awesome content we capture.

These shots come from our Equine Ambassador shoot with Samantha Tweet and her OTTB, It's Saul Right, aka "Soul."

We had a blast working with Samantha, learning all about Soul, and hearing about the Retired Racehorse Project! Samantha and Soul were gearing up to head to Kentucky in September to compete in the RRP competition.

Unfortunately, as most horse owners know too well, not everything goes to plan. Soul has been recovering from lameness over the last several weeks, though thankfully she is now on her way to being sound again.

With the competition just a few weeks away and Soul missing her regular workouts and progress, Samantha made the difficult decision to withdraw from competing in Kentucky. She is staying home to properly get Soul back into shape, rather than pushing her beyond what she is ready for.

We created the Lost Locals Equine Ambassador Program to document and support riders across multiple disciplines who embody true horsemanship and strive to build strong connections with their horses.

We could not ask for a better example of just that! We are so proud to support Samantha and her journey in giving a retired racehorse a new lease on life. We love to see a horsewoman value the longevity and health of her equine partner over pushing through at the horse's expense.

We are so excited to see Soul heal back to 100% and watch where Samantha takes her next!

Along with getting to take photos of so many amazing rodeo queens, we sometimes get the privilege of designing custom graphics for them!

For Haley, we got to design her official autograph sheets and trailer magnets! A perfect way for a rodeo queen to connect the people she meets on the road with the sponsors that support her journey.
